Memories of Bill Payne and Kamp Keomah. June 7, 2015 by alakate. When I consider the effort required to stage a Kamp for those two weeks in early June, it is mind boggling! Our mothers were the Kamp cooks, besides! The middle Sunday of the camp typically included a quick 24 hour jaunt home for our dads to preach and for our moms to do laundry.

He then walked away with the other end until he was about fifteen feet away. With a gesture of his finger I understood I was to follow him, at this distance, whilst holding the end of this string. Imagine that! See if you can picture me, in the club, being led along by a man wearing a furry tooth for a hat! .
